Copyright and abuse policy
We respect creator rights and provide immediate blocking and revocation mechanisms for rights holders.
Reporting unauthorized content
If you believe your copyrighted work is being processed or distributed through DownReels without authorization, you can submit a formal notification:
A public notices address must be configured before launch. A report should identify the work, the specific source URL, and a way to contact you.
The local technical API also accepts a structured report at `/api/v1/reports` when the site is running.
Immediate blocking and output revocation
Upon receipt of a confirmed copyright report:
1. The media identifier is immediately recorded in our `blocked_sources` registry.
2. Any in-progress preparation jobs for that media ID are immediately terminated.
3. Any completed output files on temporary storage are revoked and deleted.
4. All future analysis and download requests for that media ID are permanently rejected with an AUTHORIZATION_REQUIRED error.
5. An immutable audit record is logged in our operator audit system.
